Uma K. Tauber, Ph.D.

Dr. Uma (Sarah) Tauber (she/her) is an Associate Professor at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. She specializes in research on metacognition, student study strategies, and interleaving. She earned her Ph.D. from Colorado State University in 2010.

Dr. Tauber’s research has been published in top journals in multiple fields – cognitive, experimental, applied, and educational. She edited The Oxford Handbook of Metamemory, and Dr. Tauber’s lab has received funding from the National Science Foundation and the James S. McDonnell Foundation.

Dr. Tauber enjoys collaborative research with other experts and students, mentoring young scientists, and teaching graduate and undergraduate courses on cognitive psychology.
